Welcome to Nambucca Valley Radio 2NVR 105.9FM in 2008! |
|
Welcome to the website home of your Nambucca Valley community radio station, Nambucca Valley Radio, 2NVR. Please take a few moments to look around. You'll find information about the station, about the people that run the station, and about the kinds of programs that are produced for the listening pleasure of the residents of the Nambucca Valley.
2NVR is broadcast to you from studios in the heart of the "Verandah Post Town", Bowraville, and often comes to you courtesy of "Goori Broadcasters" housed in a studio in Nambucca Heads. Similarly, 2NVR program material is occasionally sourced from an outside broadcast van that visits local sporting and other outdoor events.

Not long back 2NVR Community Radio, R&R Music Magazine and Kaz promoted the up-and-coming new band BASIC SHAPE. The five talented band members visited the mid north coast in the first week of May and had the best time rocking and relaxing with the friendly locals.
Coming from Melbourne, they packed up their 4WD and trailer and travelled up coast launching their new CD, “Boat without a Sail”. The band played at The Transit Bar Canberra, The Oxford Tavern Wollongong, Will & Tony’s Supper Club Sydney, The Grand Junction Maitland, Coffs Hotel Coffs Harbour, The Star Hotel Macksville and The Federal Hotel Bellingen. All gigs were a huge success and the general audience consensus was “THEY’RE GREAT!”
