I joined the That’s A Wrap Team back in May of 2018, what started a guest appearance turned into a regular spot alongside Donna Collins.
Since then we have done the regular Sunday evening time slot of 5pm-7pm and last season added calling of the local Rugby League, calling most of the Macksville Sea Eagles home matches in season 2019.
It was a dream come true for me to call a game live on the radio and something I had wanted to do since I was young kid calling games off the TV on to a cassette recorder.
In 2018 I also was a panelist on the Parra Podcast with some fellow Parramatta Eels tragics.
I moved to the Nambucca Valley from Western Sydney nearly 16 years ago and have run and owned, with wife Jo, the Local Sports Store, SPORTFIRST Nambucca for 15 and a half years.
As well as being a footy tragic I also love my cricket and have played for over 35 years and still playing now. I have also volunteered on the local cricket association for many years and have umpired many games in the local competition and junior inter district level. I was part of the Nambucca Valley over40’s side that won the Neil Frame shield for the first time in many years in 2020.
Married to the lovely Jo, who is a Body Builder as well as being a super Mum, we have 5 kids and she is an exceptional wife who somehow puts up with me and my love of sport.
I love talking sport and That’s A Wrap has given me the change to talk it with some great people for our loyal listeners. Calling the Rugby League live at the ground is the most amazing experience and I hope we can continue to do it for many more years to come.
